The Tenant
A timid man named Trelkovsky rents a Paris apartment whose previous tenant, a woman named Simone Choule, attempted suicide by jumping from the window. As he settles in, Trelkovsky becomes increasingly paranoid, convinced that the other tenants are trying to drive him mad and force him to adopt Simone’s identity.
