Le Dîner De Cons (1998)
Every Wednesday, a group of arrogant Parisian businessmen holds a “dinner for idiots” — a cruel contest where each invites the dumbest person they can find to be mocked for sport. The one who brings the most idiotic guest wins.
Pierre Brochant, a smug publisher, thinks he’s found the perfect candidate: François Pignon, a humble tax inspector who builds matchstick replicas of famous landmarks. But when Pierre injures his back just before the dinner, he’s forced to spend the evening alone with Pignon — and the night turns into a disastrous comedy of errors as Pignon’s well-meaning meddling wreaks havoc on Pierre’s life.
