A Chinese Odyssey Part Two Cinderella (1995)
Picking up from Part One: Pandora's Box, this film continues the story of Joker, a reincarnation of the Monkey King, as he wrestles with his destiny and romantic feelings for Zixia Fairy. Zixia puts a magical restriction on Joker to make him fall in love with her — but complications arise as Joker's inner journey leads him closer to realizing he is the Monkey King meant to protect his master in a great pilgrimage to the West.
Blending comedy, time travel, fantasy, and tragic romance, the film explores fate, sacrifice, and the complexity of love.
