Gorgeous (1999)
The film follows a shy and simple man named Jet (Jackie Chan) who travels to Hong Kong to meet a wealthy young woman, Bu (Maggie Cheung), whom he met by chance. Bu is spoiled and used to a life of luxury, but as they spend time together, Jet’s genuine kindness and honesty slowly win her heart. The movie blends romantic comedy with light action scenes and Jackie Chan’s signature stunt work, set against the bustling backdrop of Hong Kong.
